Eurovision 2016 Top 2 (14.01.2016)

Hello :)

It's Eurovision time and us as true fans have made our top 2 of the two songs released so far. Albania was the first to relase their song and now Ireland has as well. So lets get to our first impression top 2.

Second place: ALBANIA

Eneda Tarifa - Përrallë (Fairytale) 

We both thought that the song isn't bad, the instrumental part is actually quite nice, but the song itself isn't quite our cup of tea. I do think that it's nice, that she is singing in her native language, it's a powerfull and beautiful ballad with a lot of emotions to it. It's not the type of music I would listen to a lot on my free time, that being said, sometimes ballads grow on me in time, so I'll definitely be giving it a few more listens to put together my final thoughts on it.

First place: IRELAND

Nicky Byrne - Sunlight

We thought that it's a nice pop song, rather catchy and likable. The official lyric video slightly reminded us of last year's winning song Heros. I don't know if that was intentional or not. The song itself was nice, lyrics weren't bad either, I definitely would enjoy some sunlight right now. It's easier to listen to than Albania's song and in general we enjoyed it.
