Happy New Year!

Hello :)

Happy New Year to all of our loyal readers, if there are any left, of course.
 I actually had no intention to write anything here today or not until the busy exam preiod and crazy studying is over, but I felt like sharing a little bit of something, that inspires me, with the world.

So as the new year begins I feel like almost everyone sets some sort of goals they want to reach by the end of the year. These goals, or resolutions as some like to call them, can vary a lot, but one thing in common in all of them is that usually they are not reached. That's why I don't give resolutions for the entire year. What I do, is give myself little goals for the month or week and try to keep up with them the best that I can. Possibly reward myself with some chocolate when I complete them.

My goal for this month is to do yoga for 30 days in a row. I've done it before, last year I did the same thing and ended up doing it for almost 6 months, every day, even if it was just for 5 minutes. I think yoga is a great way to tend for both my mental and physical health. It's something that I can do to my abilities and I never feel like I'm not good enough. I can see progress and feel it.

There are endless types of yoga that you can do. But the goal of all of them is to find balance and find what feels good (that's also the moto of one of my favourite yogis on youtube). So I encourage all people to give it a try, I'm definitely not very athletic, but yoga has given me the chance to become stronger and do something good for my health. It's the type of sport (if you want to call it that) that I want to do, instead of feel like I have to do it.
