Eurovision 2018 First Semi-Final Overview

Hello :)

The first semi-final arrived and wen by like a storm. We were very excited to see all of the performances and we weren't disappointed. This semi was very high quality, I can't say that any of them would've been bad. Almost all of the songs deserve to be in the final, but we did attempt to make some predictions and also to give our top 10, so the songs we'd send to the final.

We predicted that the 10 countries to get to the final would be:

Bulgaria

Cyprus

Estonia

Azerbaijan

Israel

Czechia

Croatia

Belgium

Austria

Finland

Followed by Greece, with a strong maybe

However, if it were up to us, we'd send:

Albania

Estonia

Bulgaria

Croatia

Austria

Finland

Switzerland

Ireland

Lithuania

Followed by Belgium

The ones who actually qualified were:

Austria

Estonia

Cyprus

Lithuania

Israel

Czechia

Bulgaria

Albania

Finland

Ireland (we were soooooo happyyyyyy)

We were a little sad that Switzerland and Croatia didn't make it, but other than that we were pretty happy with the results.
