Eesti Laul 2018 Semi-Final 1: Our Predictions and Thoughts

The day has come, it's officially the first semi-final of Eesti Laul. All 10 songs have performed and it's time for us to give our afterthoughts.

First one up was Vaje´ with their song Laura, we quite enjoyed the song, the performance perhaps could be polished a bit, at parts it felt a little uncomfortable, but all in all, we still enjoyed it. Prediction: Maybe Qualifies, Result: Yes

Next up was Iiris & Agoh with Drop that Boogie, her performance was visually very well done, it's a peace to the eyes and she definitely sang the song incredibly, so all around a great performance. Prediction: Qualifies, Result: Yes

Etnopatsy with their song Külm was also very professional and we enjoyed it, the visual was very good and so were the vocals. Prediction: Maybe Qualifies, Result: No

Sibyl Vane was next to perform their song Thousand Words, it was another well-performed song, perhaps there could've been more lyrics to the song, but it didn't bother us too much. Still a good song. Result: Yes

Aden Ray performed his song Everybody's Dressed in a bathtub, which I thought was pretty cool and went along with the meaning of the song. His vocals were very good as well, so we enjoyed it a lot. The end was perhaps a little odd but all around still good. Prediction: Qualifies, Result: No :(

Tiiu, Okym and Semi had a song called Näita Oma Energiat, it is a rap song, which isn't quite our cup of tea. Prediction: Maybe Qualifies, Result: No

Stig Rästa with his song Home was great as was expected, the staging was classy and he sang it very well. Prediction: Qualifies, Result: Yes

Miljardid with their song Pseudoprobleem was up next, their song was pretty good, but again probably not our cup of tea. Result: No

Desiree with On My Mind was another ok song, perhaps her vocals weren't the best, but the performance itself was good. Result: No

Elina with her song La Forza was definitely amazing, she knows how to fill a stage quite literally and of course, vocally she was amazing. Prediction: Qualifies, Result: Yes

That's all, for now, we'll see how it'll actually go.
