Movie Review: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Today we had the incredible chance to go and watch Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, so obviously we wished to share all of our thoughts with all of our readers.

We are both huge fans of Harry Potter books and movies, we grew up with them and have enjoyed them at all points in our lives, so obviously we were also very excited to see the new movie, that featured the same world that we grew to know and love so much.

The movie had an incredible cast and we already knew that before even going to see the movie, so that only made us more excited to see it. In a word it was all very magical. The stroy was obviously focussed around a different time and location, everything took place in the magical side of the USA, which was very interesting to watch. I loved that although it was largely very different from the Harry Potter books and movies, it still had hints of the same old story hidden in it, only to be seen by true fans.

The story itself was also very interesting to observe, all of the fantastic beasts, were made so realistic and fun to watch, there was enough humor added to everything that happened that the two hours went by so fast. I was so focussed on watching the movie that for a moment I forgot to eat my snacks and that truly shows that it was a good movie.

I think that the creatures that were brought to life on the screen looked as I would've imagined them to look in the magic world, they were so much more vibrant and alive than anything going on in the muggle world, or should I say no-maj world. There were some truly beautiful as well as extremely cute creatures and the entire side of fantastic beasts was integrated to the stroy very well, while not actually being the main focus of the storyline at all times.

All in all, we loved the movie, for sure, enjoyed it and would watch it again, if we were given the chance, we're also looking forward to all the sequels it'll have, we just have to wait so long to see the next movie. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
