Eurovision 2016 Final - our afterthoughts + winner :)

The night of Eurovision 2016 is finally here and by now most of you already know the winner, but as I'm writing it, nothing has been decided yet. I think it's no surprise to anyone, that we are going to give our thorough review of the show, talk a bit about our favourites and least favourites, so let's get into it.

Firstly, I'm going to give a few thoughts on all of the acts that we haven't given our review on yet, in other words the countries that got straight to the final.

Lets start with Italy, her live performance was very good, we liked the Italian part more, it was very enjoyable, Kai didn't quite understand the staging, but I thought it suited the song.

Next up France, there wasn't much interesting happening on stage, but the general performance was good, he looked happy and comfortable on stage. His live has improved as well.

Germany, she looked very cute on stage and sang well, the general look of the performance was good and we really liked it.

Spain, I've heard complaints about her live performance, but I thought it was very good, her vocals were amazing and the dance moves still didn't bother us.

UK, they sounded slightly better together than in their national final and generally the performance was ok.

Sweden, again there wasn't much interesting going on during the performance, but it worked well together and he seemed to be enjoying it. I'm not sure if he messed up a bit in the middle or it just seemed that way to me, either way it was pretty good.

Our personal favourite male vocals were: Hungary, Latvia, The Netherlands.

And female vocals: Spain, Armenia, Ukraine, Bulgaria.

Best outfits: Germany, Australia, Bulgaria, Armenia

Most interesting performances: Russia, Armenia

Best coreography/dancing: Belgium, Spain, Bulgaria

Best hair: Poland, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium

Probably our least favourite acts of the final were Georgia and Croatia, but that's completly our opinion.

The winner is Ukraine and although at first we weren't the biggest fans of this song then we do think that they deserved it.

We also quite liked the new point giving system, it made the ending quite interesting and exciting.
