Come Join Us for Split Week

Hello :)


Today I'm here with just a little blog post to encourage all to come join us for a week full of stretching for the splits. My personal goal is to get my left leg splits flat on the ground, since at the moment I'm just a tiny bit away from it and obviously I'd also like to improve my right leg splits, which are on the ground, but maybe I could move onwards to an oversplit.

Anyway here is the routine we will be following, it only takes about 15 minutes out of your day, so maybe try it as well.


  • Start by warming up your muscles for about five minutes, you can do an excercise of your choice for that.
  • Then a static forward fold on the ground for about a minute.
  • Bend one leg to the side and bend forward towards the other leg. Do that first by bending the right leg for about 30 seconds and then bend the left leg, right leg is straight and bend toward that for 30 seconds as well.
  • Then hold a lunge while pressing your hips lower, one minute for both legs, two minutes in total.
  • Lastly a bit of a more dynamic stretch move between a lunge an a hamstring stretch (move your hips backwards from a lunge to straighten your front leg) for about 30 seconds, first with your right leg forward, from there move straight into your right leg splits for a minute or longer, if you wish.
  • Repeat the same on the other leg.
